NO CHANGE AT THE TOP FOR LEADING WOMEN’S CLUBS

Action in the England Hockey League today saw a full programme of Women's matches, with a number of re-arranged matches in the men's Premier Division and East and North Conferences. (The result from the one men's East Conference match is awaited).

At the top of the Women's Premiership, the closely fought tussle between Leicester and Canterbury continues, with both sides picking up three points today. Leicester lead the chase by one point, but Canterbury have a game in hand. At the top of the East Conference, Ipswich leap-frogged Sevenoaks by beating Dereham 5-1. Sevenoaks could only manage a 1-1 draw at Chelmsford. The other women's conferences remain tight at the top with all the leading contenders winning this afternoon.
