GB WOMEN LOSE TWO-MATCH SERIES AGAINST HOCKEYROOS

Great Britain's women completed a two match series Australia yesterday (Friday).

The first match on Wednesday, at Bisham Abbey, ended 4-0 in favour of the Hockeyroos, with goals from Shelley Liddelow, Amt Korner, Nicole Arrold (PS) and Fiona Boyce.

The second match was played at Altwood CofE School in Maidenhead, as part of an initiative to by England Hockey to get international hockey into schools. This match ended 1-1 after Madonna Blythe scored a first half goal for the Australians. The equaliser was from a penalty corner strike from Crista Cullen in the 44th minute.
