NETHERLANDS LEAD CHAMPIONS TROPHY

The women’s Samsung Champions Trophy resumes play in Monchengladbach this evening after Monday’s rest day. The Dutch have confirmed their dominance of the women’s game by wins over Germany (2-1) and China (3-1) during the weekend. This leaves them as the only nation on maximum points. The Netherlands do not play again until tomorrow evening when they face Japan, who have yet to pick up a point in the tournament so far. Australia, Argentina, Germany, and China are all on three points after two games.

This evening Australia play Argentina, whilst Japan face Germany.
