The GB women’s squad has been announced ahead of next week’s matches against Argentina. The squad consists of Laura Batlett and Abigail Walker (Milne Craig Western), Hayley Brown and Mel Clewlow (Canterbury), Charlotte Craddock (Cannock), Alex Danson and Kate Walsh (Slough), Jo Ellis (Ipswich), Jo Ellis and Sam Quek (Bowdon Hightown), Susie Gilbert (Birmingham University), Rebecca Herbert and Kerry Williams (Leicester), Katy Roberts, Chloe Rogers and Lisa Wooding (Chelmsford), Beth Story (SCHC), Sarah Thomas (Rotterdam), Rachel Walker and Lucilla Wright (Olton & West Warcs). Some of the Leicester players have been omitted to allow them to take part in the Women’s European Club Championships in Cologne this weekend.
The matches between GB and Argentina take place at 19:00 at Reading Hockey Club next Monday and Tuesday.
