GIRLS TAKE GOLD IN AUSTRALIA

Great Britain's girls have taken gold in the finals of the Youth Olympics in Austalia. They won 4-2 in the final against the hosts, with goals from Haley Brown, Sarah Page (2), and Charlotte Craddock. The men's final was decided on penalties after the match finished at 2-2. The GB goals were scored by Ashley Jackson and Chris Griffiths.

The final of the Champions Trophy today (Sunday) will be between Netherlands and the hosts, Argentina. Argentina beat Australia 3-0 in the last of the round-robin matches. The Netherlands dropped points in their match against Germany, although observers of Dutch hockey will probably know that the Dutch were probably saving themselves for the final. The final score 1-1.
