CULLEN STRIKES FOR GREAT BRITAIN

England's penalty corner specialist, Crista Cullen (pictured right), was on form for the first of three test matches between Great Britain and South Africa in Stellenbosch. Cullen opened the scoring in the 25th minute, but South Africa were able to reply just before the break with a field goal from Henna Du Buisson. It was a second corner conversion from Cullen towards the end of the second half which gave GB the 2-1 victory.

A number of England regulars earned their first GB caps in this match. Alex Danson, Sally Walton, Chloe Rogers, Lisa Wooding and Cathy Gilliat-Smith made their GB debuts, as did Alisa Robertson and Abi Walker of Scotland.
