GERMANY SHOW PROMISE BUT LOSE OUT TO AUSTRALIANS

There was no play in the Champions Trophy in Quilmes today. Due to the refurbishment work to our studio, we have not been able to upload yesterday's results until now.

Germany, who have taken a largely untested side to Argentina and still recovering from their 8th place in the World Cup, made a brave attempt against the Australians, but eventually lost 2-1. The Netherlands were too strong for Japan, winning 3-0, whilst in the all-Latin meeting, Agentina were the victors against Spain, 4-1.

The results so far leave three teams on six points, Argentina, the Netherlands, and Australia, and the rest of the pack on zero. The table will face a shake up in tomorrow's matches, when the Netherlands and Argentina meet,
