All but one of today’s EHL play-offs at Chelmsford ended in a draw today, with the last match of the day also ending in a 2-2 draw. Hampstead & Westminster from the Men’s Premier Division went into the break with a two-goal lead over Brooklands MU courtesy of two penalty corner conversions by David Eakins. Fifteen minutes into the second half Martin Scanlon scored from open play for Brooklands, followed by a last gasp equaliser from Mark Richardson. Only Chelmsford from the Women’s Premier Division go into tomorrow’s round of matches with a goal advantage after their 3-1 win over Sunderland earlier.
