Great Britain's women played the first of a three match series against Spain this afternoon. Fielding a largely experimental side, Danny Kerry's women got off to a bright start after Rebecca Herbert found the net within the first three minutes. But this was to be GB's one and only goal of the match. A 16th minute field goal and an overtime penalty corner took GB into the second half 2-1 down and a second half goal sealed the match for the Spanish. Final score 3-1 to Spain:
