Belgium, needing only a draw, recovered from a 2-0 half time deficit to beat Spain 3-2 and claim a place in the semi-final against The Netherlands and also a place at the Olympics. Max Lucyx, their Captain (who was playing his 300th match), led the way with their first goal.
Taeka Taekema scored from The Netherlands’ first four corners in their 7-4 defeat of Ireland, who at one stage led 2-1.
Germany predictably beat Russia, 7-0
