Den Bosch, who just a week ago surrendered their Dutch National title to Amsterdam after 11 successive championship titles, bounced back in the Eurohockey Women's Club Championship when they beat Berliner 9-1 in the final, their tenth successive victory in this competition.
Maaratje Paumen converted three penalty corners and finished as the tournament's leading goal scorer with 11 and there was a goal for England's Helen Richardson (pictured). The match was umpired by Anne McRae from Scotland and Carol Metchette from Ireland,
Atasport beat CD Terrassa for third place on penalty strokes. Viktroriya Shabazova, the Atasport goalkeeper, who was named player of the tournament , was sent off during the second half but was back for the stroke competition and saved Terrassa's fourth effort from Marta Prat Calmet. The most promising player was 19 year old Nina Laudahn from Berliner.
