England men continue their unbeaten record in the World
League Finals in New Delhi by beating Belgium 1-0 in their quarter final
match. England’s goal came from a
penalty corner in the 47th minute converted by Tom Carson.
England will meet New Zealand in the semi-finals on
Friday. New Zealand beat the promising
Argentines after a shoot out decider. England played the New Zealanders only
two days ago in Pool A, beating them 1-5.
The Netherlands beat Germany 2-1 in the other quarter final
result. They will meet the winner of the match between Australia and India, the
result of which is awaited.
