CANTERBURY REMAIN TOP

Canterbury retain their lead at the top of the Women's Premiership after a 7-2 win away at Olton & West Warwicks. Second place Leicester remain their chief challenge after they recorded a 4-0 victory over University of Birmingham. Despite the defeat, the University keep their third position but they are on equal points with Bowdon Hightown and Slough. Slough were victims of Reading's revival, with England skipper Kate Walsh scoring twice from penalty corners to win the match 4-1. The win moves Reading up from ninth to seventh place.

In the Men's West Conference, the top of the table clash between Bath Buccaneers and University of Exeter ended 5-3 in Exeter's favour. Both sides are now on 22 points, only separated by goal difference.
