MOODIE TO RETURN HOME

Graham Moodie, who is in Kuala Lumpur with the Great Britain team as part of their warm up for the Champions Trophy, has been forced to return home with a hamstring injury. His place will be taken by 26 year-old Niall Stott of the Scot's club Kelburne. The hugely experienced Stott has previously been capped for GB 42 times. The Champions Trophy starts in earnest next Thursday with an opening Match against the Netherlands. TalkHockeyRadio will be providing daily on-the-spot bulletins from Kuala Lumpur from Tuesday 4 November.

GREAT BRITAIN'S WOMEN played the second of their five test series against Argentina yesterday. Bowdon Hightown's Sam Quek won her first GB cap in the 0-0 draw. Coach Danny Kerry had rested some of his experienced players and after the match commented, "As expected, Argentina threw the kitchen sink at us this evening. With Walsh, Richardson and Thomas rested, this team showed good resilience in the face of pressure.
