DAY TWO REVERSE FOR ENGLAND's BOYS

With today (Wednesday) being a rest day in the Women's Champions Trophy all eyes were on the European Youth Nations Championships. In the boy's competition in Dublin, England suffered a setback when they went 2-1 down to Russia in Pool B. Beligum, who had put ten passed Poland yesterday, had to be satisfied with a more modest 2-1 win over Ireland, whilst Poland managed to regain some credibilty by losing 3-1 to Spain. The other match in England's group between the Netherlands and Austria ended 4-0 in favour of the Dutch.

As of 21:00 we have not been able to secure England's result in the Girl's competition.
