England Hockey has announced that the indoor programme for the weekend of 9-10 January has been rearranged due to adverse weather conditions throughout England.
The second weekend of the men's and women's Premier Divisions, due to be played at Flemming Park, Eastleigh, has been rescheduled as follows:
Men's Premier Division:
The remainder of the progamme will now be played over the weekend of 16-17 January at the University of the West of England, sharing the venue with Division One. Division One was due to be played over the weekends of 16-17 and 23-24 January and sharing the venue will impact on both weekends. The Premier Division will play its remaining 18 matches starting at 10:00 on Saturday 16 and concluding with the last match at 11:15 on Sunday 17. Nine Division One matches will follow on the Sunday and the remaining 27 matches will be played the following weekend
Women's Premier Division:
Due to commitments resulting from the European Indoor Challenge in Rouen, the decision has been taken to conclude this division at Whitgift School, Croydon, during the weekend of 23/24 January. This is also a shared venue with Division One, which was due to be played over the weekends of 16-17 and 23-24 January. Division One will now have to compress 27 of its matches into the weekend of 16-17 January. The remaining 18 matches of the women's Premier Division will be played starting at 10:00 on Saturday 24 and concluding with the last match at 11:15 on Sunday 25. Division One will play its remaining nine matches on Sunday 25.
Matches in the re-arranged schedule for both Premier and Division One matches will be 15 minutes each way with no time-outs allowed.
