Great Britain's women overcame New Zealand in a training match played in humid conditions at the Hong Kong Football Club earlier today. A goal in the first half from Charlotte Craddock was followed by a second half goal by Bowdon Hightown's Jo Ellis. Both the travelling reserves, goalkeeper Katy Roberts and Scotland's Laura Bartlett, came off the bench to take part in this match. In the Olympics proper, both will have to live outside of the athletes village unless they are used to replace an injured member of the squad.
