READING REMAIN IN THIRD PLACE AFTER DRAW AGAINST SURBITON.

There was only one England Hockey League match today and that was the Now:Pensions Men’s Premier Division game between Reading and Surbiton at Sugden Road.  The two clubs were a match behind as a result of their involvement in Round 1 of the EuroHockey League.

A good win from Reading held the promise of moving into second place, but Andy Watts 25th minute goal was cancelled out by a penalty corner conversion by James Tindall early in the second half.  The match ended 1-1 and Reading remain in third place behind Beeston and East Grinstead. Surbiton remain in fourth place, five points behind Reading.
