CARDIFF AND HORSHAM LEAD PLAY-OFFS

Cardiff & UWIC increased their lead at the top of the table in the men’s EHL Qualifying Play-offs at Cannock this afternoon beating Kingston-upon-Hull 7-1. They are now three points ahead of Durham University and Harleston Magpies, both on seven points. Durham could only draw against Fareham 2-2, whilst Harleston overcame Harborne 3-2. In the women’s competition leaders Horsham increased their chances of retaining their EHL status by beating Lansdown 4-1. Springfield UCLAN, who were second this morning, were beaten by Southgate 6-1 and drop to third place, separated on goal difference from second placed Southgate.
