MIXED RESULTS IN INDOOR TESTS

There were contrasting outcomes when England played the last of their indoor tests against Scotland in Paisley today (Sunday).

The men recorded an emphatic victory over the Scots, with Ashley Jackson being on target with three goals, one of which was from the penalty spot. The other England goals were scored by Matt Daly, Adam Dixon, Simon Egerton, Jonty Clarke and Richard Springham. The final score, 8-1 to England.

England's women were less fortunate. England started the game encouragingly, with a Kerry Williams' goal in the first half and a second from Ashleigh Ball less than a minute into the second. Despite the 2-0 lead, Scotland eventually won the match 6-2.
