PREMIER CLUBS TAKE HOME ADVANTAGE by Pat Rowley

All eight premier clubs who entered this winter’s English Women’s Cup have uniquely had the good fortune to be drawn at home for the third round on Sunday week. Bowdon Hightown, the holders who trounced Leeds 16-0 in the second round on Sunday, next meet newcomers to the English League, Taunton Vale.

Slough, last season’s beaten finalists, have been drawn against first division side Trojans whom they beat 8-0 in the 2003 semi-finals.

Leicester, the English League champions, will play National North side, Whitley Bay, for the first time.
