WHAT A DIFFERENCE AYMAR MAKES

Having the world's top female player in your squad is bound to make a difference and so it proved in last night's (Monday) international at Reading between England and Argentina. Kate Walsh opened England's account with a penalty corner strike after four minutes following a tackle on Chloe Rogers. But Marine Russo amd Gabriela Aquirre acquired the visitors the lead within minutes. It was Aymar who finally sunk England's hope of a recovery with two goals before half time. The score remained at 4-1 until the dying moments. Mel Clewlow, who had given England their consulation goal against the Australians on Sunday, converted a penalty corner to leave the final score at 4-2 to the visitors.
